"I couldn't resist handing my camera to someone in the pits and hamming it up with the Daytonas", shares Peter Brock (on the left in sunglasses), designer of the Cobra Daytona Coupes, seen here at Le Mans in 1965.
Standing next to Brock in front of #12, CSX 2601, are Shelby American driver, Alan Grant (center), and a Le Mans race marshall (in uniform on right ).
The suites for the Daytona team hovered above their pit area where a group of people are enjoying the scene. Below them various crew members work in the team garages and standing in front of the garages are the infamous French Gendarme, protecting the cars from onlookers.
