As the 1972 season came to an end, the #35 guest car had become the #85 car of Bobby Allison. The two-time Championship winning #46, driven by John Morton, took its place in the shop inbetween the #85 and #68 guest cars. Next in line was the newly finished, bright yellow, four door BRE Baja 510 "Sugar Daddy" car which was being prepped for the Baja 1000 that year. And at the end of the line was an under-construction BRE customer car which was being built for a customer in Jamaica.

Hanging from the ceiling are the signs of BRE's design history. In the foreground is the wooden buck for the Triumph TR-250K with Peter Brock designed in the early years of BRE and behind it is the buck for the Hino Samurai GT car which ran in the Japanese Grand Prix in 1967. Also hanging from the ceiling are two dried Winners' Podium wreaths.

In the right foreground, partially visible on the floor, is the BRE air compressor affectionately referred to as "the pig". To the left is a row of engines ready to go.

Today... #85 and #46 survive. The #68 car was sold to a customer in Mexico who successfully campaigned it for several years. After that owner sold it, the new owner crashed it and it no longer exists. Once the Baja car finished the 1000 it was sold and its history unknown. The Jamaica customer car lived in Jamaica until a few years ago when a warehouse fire where it was stored compelled the owner to sell it. It is now back in the States, undergoing restoration.
