After BRE won its second (and last) 2.5 TransAm championship in 1972 (because everybody else quit, and the SCCA canceled the series) we made up a very cool silver Mylar decal with a victory wreath proudly proclaiming that BRE Datsun 510s had won both years of that historic 2.5 Trans Am series. We used this design to create these very classy black polo shirts. The colorful wreath with all the pertinent information on our Trans Am wins is embroidered on the left chest in the front while the back contains a subtle BRE logo embroidered in black just below the base of the neckline. These high quality black polo shirts commemorate the death of the 2.5 series so we proudly call them our "Killer Shirts". We think you'll not only be proud to wear this very elegant and historic polo on special occasions (in recognition of this great double victory) but will also find some quiet satisfaction in formally presenting one to your friends with an Alfa Romeo or BMW.

We've worn polo shirts for years. When it came to creating our own we pulled out the polo we find ourselves wearing over and over again. This combed, ring-spun 100% cotton Outer Banks polo is the heaviest polo shirt we've ever had at a hefty 6.8 ounces. The collar and sleeve details stand up to wash after wash. Exceptionally durable it just seems to get better with age. This is our favorite polo shirt of all time and we now share it with you with this classy Trans Am tribute.
