In 1972, their
fourth year of successfully racing Datsuns, the seasoned BRE Championship team
was enjoying themselves. At races, BRE team owner and manager, Peter Brock, would
hold this pit board sign over the wall as Championship driver John Morton raced
by to remind John what awaited him when/if he took the checkered flag.
Whenever we've
shared this photo we've been asked to make it a shirt... so here it
is!
For
this fun shirt we chose a Hanes Nano t-shirt in "vintage navy" with light gray
lettering. As t-shirts are normally worn in summer we've gotten requests for a
lighter weight t-shirt than our normal beefy-Ts. It's lightweight, soft and
made of a light cotton jersey that feels great. This shirt is pre-shrunk but has a slimmer fit than the beefy-Ts, so size
up if you want a more relaxed and roomier fit.
