"In 1972 BRE added a third 510 to their team. #68 became a "guest" car and was driven by a local talent at the track being raced that weekend. Bobby Allison was a regular in the South, Bob Sharp and Sam Posey were regulars in the Northeast, Jim Fitzgerald in the SE as well as Peter Gregg who takes the checker here at Watkins Glen. It was a brilliant marketing strategy which assured local race coverage and trackside fan support for BRE."
