A Corvair was used as the camera car for Lucas' short film "1:42.08" in 1966. Here it is shown with camera man, Emmett Alston, laying in a special-built shooting platform with Peter Brock driving the Lotus 23. Upon close inspection, a Shelby Cobra decal (which Peter Brock designed while he was at Shelby American) can be seen in the back window of the Corvair.
