"Italy, always a wonderful land of exotic race cars, was the actual birth place of this Peter Brock design that had originally been conceived in California for the USSRC series. Featuring a hot 289 Cobra engine on an innovative central spine chassis, designed by DeTomaso, the P70 had more new ideas than many of its contemporaries being developed in Germany, the UK and America. Here the P70 with its integrated front and side windscreens and movable rear wing is rolled out in Fantuzzi's shop in Modena before the team of artisans that constructed it."
