Craig Breedlove (at the wheel of CSX 2287) poses with co-driver Bobby Tatroe at the Bonneville salt flats in late 1965. When GoodYear's planned land speed record attempts were temporarily sidelined, these two drivers were brought together to "hold the salt" with CSX 2887. Here they prepare to start their long distance record attempts, which results in setting 23 National and International FIA records. Note that the "A" pillar "fence" has been removed to lessen drag.
