"The two fastest C Production racers in the US line up on the pre-grid for the ARRC run-offs in 1970. John Morton in the BRE Datsun 240Z and Bob Tullius in the Group 44 Triumph TR6 were the top drivers from the west and east coast regions, meeting for the first time in CP. Morton would win, marking the first year that the name Datsun came to prominence in America. After that Datsun would pretty much rule production car racing in America for a long time to come."
