Peter Brock hired Frank Monise as his first driver at BRE as: "He was the only driver I couldn't win against when I was driving.

Early in BRE's first race season with Datsun, 1969, Brock and Monise size things up at the Pacific Raceway in Kent, WA. The year would end with Frank winning the Pacific Coast D Production Championship in this BRE Datsun 2000 Roadster.
