This is the very first Shelby racing poster! Peter Brock used his design skills at the end of the 1963 season to create this poster to celebrate the Cobra's National Championships: USRRC Manufacturer, USRRC Driver (Bob Holbert) and SCCA A Production Championship. Brock used a subtle block of color at the top of the poster to contrast the impactful roadsters. He then punched the message out (3 championships in the year '63) by using the same numbers he had created for the cars to wear, a rounded style to compliment the Cobra roadster's rounded shape. It would become a trademark design for Brock as he used the same principles when he created the first BRE Datsun Championship poster in 1969. Poster is available with Peter Brock's autograph.
