Peter Brock and Shelby American's Original Venice Crew decided to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Shelby Mustang GT350R's first run (where it won) by revisiting their original work and building a 1965 GT350R as they originally would have wanted if time and budget had been no factor. The resulting cars are called GT350R2s.
One of the enhancements made by Peter Brock was to redesign the front valance for the cars. With no time to build the originals the bumpers were taken off, leaving a gaping hole. Brock's redesign is a beauty, incorporating the bumper into the valance design.
These Peter Brock designed valances fit on any early Mustang (it doesn't need to be a Shelby). Select the photo below for more details.
